Explore The Rustic Finishes Inside This Renovated 1930s Lakefront Log Home

Posted on March 29, 2019April 15, 2019 by Adorable Living Spaces

This log home retreat is located on a private peninsula in Bay Lake, Minnesota. It was built in 1930 and was perfectly renovated by A & H Architecture. It remained in the rustic style, but in the same time modernized. The living conditions were improved, providing better natural light in order to maximize the spectacular lake views.

The great room is very cozy, remaining the warmth even with the high ceilings. This log home is constructed with high quality materials.

The high ceilings offer great circulation of fresh air. The fireplace gets all the way to the ceiling, providing a rustic anchor to the main living space of the house.

There is a perfect porch for those who enjoy outdoors in peace and quiet. In order to catch the best of the log home lifestyle, the house should be surrounded by nature. Bay Lake Lodge possesses a beautiful and attractive location directly on the lake. If you dream of rustic retreat in an appealing surrounding with back to basics lifestyle, this is a perfect log home for you.
