Floating Tiny Houseboats Allow You To Have A Vacation On The Water

Posted on July 24, 2019July 24, 2019 by Adorable Living Spaces

Float away on a tiny houseboat from Daigno and forget all your troubles. The boat builders from Quebec designed what can be considered the perfect houseboat experience. The homes are solar powered so you can also take a vacation on the water. Tis model is called Le Koroc and it was designed specifically to be lightweight and very energy efficient. They were careful to pick not only lightweight materials but also materials that are durable and that have a long life. So they decided to use laminated white cedar beams and plywood to create this houseboat that weighs only 5,000 pounds. Most other larger houseboats weigh up to 40,000 pounds. Being lightweight decreases the cost of the houseboat and at the same makes it easier to tow when compared to the average houseboat. The size of the home is 24 by 8 feet making it really easy to tow it on the highway. This allows owners to take this houseboat wherever they would like. Inside you have all the basic things you would need and it even has a bathroom with a shower stall. The table folds into a bed that forms a mattress from the two benches creating a bedroom. The boat has a lot of storage as well.

The front has a living area and an open deck. There’s also a grill and a fish tank to store caught fish. The price of this houseboat is around $65,000 and this will get you everything. The metal roof sports a 265-watt solar panel that powers the lights and the fridge. The lights are led which cuts down the power use quite a bit. The toilets installed are composting which are easy to clean and use. The curved roof gives the boat a nice shape and contour. At the end it looks like the perfect little home on the water and is quite perfect for people who enjoy fishing and being on the water.

The company also has other designs they offer and each one can be customized based on the customer’s needs. This one is designed for fishing specifically because it has the fishing deck and the fish tank. Another version is the Le Koroc V which is bigger and is more geared towards Holyday use. This modal has a bigger cabin and waterproof benches on the deck. The L’Équinoxe and L’Équinoxe D are their high end models which are quite bigger than the others, they come with single portable single beds and couches on the deck the D also is a double decker. Which one of these houseboats would you like to own and enjoy on the water.
