Standing as one the proudest piece of work designed by architect Nick Deaver, this cabin located in Cedar Park, Texas was once an old abandoned shed that not even stray cats would visit. But all it took Mr. Deaver was a bit of planning, interesting features, and some materials to build a luxurious masterpiece that stands as one of the most prominent structures in the area – The Walkabout.
Using corrugated galvanized metal, steel and concrete, with a bit of maintenance, this grandiose cabin took its time to transform into a truly grandiose residence and workspace. The structure is currently being used by a couple for creating an eco-friendly on-line pet store, while living a more peaceful, quiet, yet modern and modest life.
Some of the best features this place has are a companion works studio, a limestone den, as well as porches on all sides, that give you a delightful view of the sunrise, noon and sunset.
