Olive Nest Tiny Homes designed this incredible tiny home. This one is quite unique and we haven’t seen anything like it. The house is called Else and it’s unique because it’s parked. The tiny home has a trailer that connects which serves as a greenhouse and it’s attached to the bigger home. This makes the home a very interesting design in which you have two tiny homes attached to another tome a bigger one. The interior is just as amazing as the exterior as seen in the video tour. The video shows just how the space is designed inside and how this cabin can be used for everyday living.
The inside of the Else home will surprise you because it’s quite a big contrast to the wooden exterior. The interior feels modern with white walls and white kitchen cabinets. The stainless steel appliances also add to the modern look. A practical addition is the stairway that leads to the loft. This is a great addition for people that find it difficult and cumbersome to use a ladder. There is a lot of extra storage space beneath the stairs. The outdoors swing is perfect for relaxing after a long day. The high ceilings give the home a bigger, more specious feel. The living room has a small comfortable sofa and the windows around let in a lot of natural light.
The greenhouse also has many benefits. One of the biggest one is the longer growing season. Plants in a greenhouse aren’t exposes to all the temperature variations as compared to plants grown outside. The greenhouse works by trapping radiation from the sun inside and therefore increasing the temperature. The microclimate allows gardeners to prolong the season for growing and allowing them to grow plants that usually don’t thrive in colder climates. This gives people the option to buy fresh vegetables out of season. The greenhouse also protects from the elements therefore creating a more stable growing environment.
Greenhouse plants are protected from storms, strong winds and dust storms. Soil erosion because of floods and rain doesn’t affect greenhouse plants. Gardeners can be away from their garden in comfort because they will know that their crops will be protected 24/7. The growers can also have finer control over their produce. People without a garden must buy vegetables from the grocery or local market, these crops are usually exposed to a lot of pesticides and toxic chemicals to increase yield. A Study showed that trace amounts of these chemicals stay in the vegetables after harvesting and that around 5.6 percent of the produce has substances that are banned in the United States.
