In today’s market real estate prices are always blowing up and increasing daily. This made Italian designer Renato Vidal to create an affordable alternative to traditional housing. Costing about $33k, the M.A.Di is a flat folding home that can be assembled by three people in any flat location in around 6 hours.
The home is seismically safe and is created with high end materials. The sizes range from the 290-square-foot $33k model to the 904-square-foot model that costs around $73k. Included in all the basic models are: a bathroom with facilities, kitchen connections, one stage staircase and technical installations.
Once delivered, you don’t even need a concrete foundation to assemble the M.A.Di. Another amazing thing is that you can make the M.A.Di to be completely off-grid by including solar panels, gray water systems and LED lightning “It creates cosy and safe places highly customizable according to your needs,” is stated on its website. The delivery time is usually 60 days after the final drawings have been accepted.
