Inspired by the triangular mountains, the shipping container hotel “Quadrum” is shaped exactly like a pyramid.
Designed by the architects Sandro Ramishvilli and Irakli Eristavi, this is an amazing creation. Built in a minimalist style, the hotel seems to blend in and copy the terrain, creating a cascade effect down the mountainside.
The main idea behind this hotel was to protect the environment from the detrimental effects of work and leisure. The constructing of the project virtually left the landscape untouched and only local produced materials were used. Quadrum is the only boutique hotel right now in the Upper Gudauri, Republic of Gorgia.
