How to Build a Log Cabin (…from Scratch and by Hand)

Posted on January 12, 2019April 12, 2019 by Adorable Living Spaces

If you want to build your own log cabin and you are a beginner, than you should follow some steps to make it easy. Firstly there is a lot of information on the Internet and you can find useful instructions, materials and advices. Don’t forget that you may find some unsuccessful projects, but they will help you too. Secondly you need to decide what kind of log cabin you want to have: “green” home or a classic, old one?

Also, you need to decide how much time you’re going to stay there (do you want to live there or just go for the weekends and holidays?). Another think is the possibility to make it an eco home so that way you need to choose the power source (for example. PV) and the type of heating and cooling system.

Below in this article you can find some tips and instructions and start building your own log house when you’re completely ready.
